day 5
Yesterday was challenging but beautiful. As we climbed and headed west the terrain totally changed. We are now in high dessert. Lots of beautiful views of Mt Hood yesterday. We are in the middle of nowhere in a town called Kah-née-ta. I think the only thing here is the casino and hotel. We leave this mooring for Prinville is is at 2868 feet. Lots of climbing over 60 miles. Starting with sore legs and sore bum. Lactic acid building io!

checking in--sounds like you are doing alot of hard riding--I'm sure you will welcome the weekend and a day off. Our house is full of boxes and the movers come tomorrow to take it all away. It really is sinking in that our time here has come to a close. Take care./Karen
